| Original Soap Stone Carvings by Artist Wendy Hook |
| Wendy Hook has honed her carving skills in Alaska with her father, a well known Alaskan artist. He has passed on the gift of capturing the natural beauty of wildlife in her soapstone carvings. Raised in Leavenworth, Washington, a small Bavarian town in the foothills of the Cascade mountains. Wendy has always lived with nature at her back door for her sculpture inspiration. Wendy specializes in soapstone carving and all her works are originals. Sculptures are carved from select pieces of soapstone mined by Wendy and her husband. Because each sculpture is an original, it will be slightly different in appearance. Stone color can be requested, however it cannot be guaranteed due to varying stone inventory. |
