The Inspiration: Marc Pierce, founder of Big Sky Carvers has spent his entire life around wildlife art and the scenes and critters that wildlife art and sculpture portray. These life experiences coupled with the talent of the Big Sky Carvers’ team of sketch artists, clay sculptors and patina painters is what this collection is all about. These are Marc’s stories and his memories, reflected in a collaborative effort between himself and his outstanding team of artists. The Wildlife sculptures are cast from a combination of real bronze, pewter and resin. The quality of the sculptures are comparable to expensive solid bronze, but with out the solid bronze cost. Each sculpture has a hand applied patina to give it a lasting bronze like finish.
